Horizon Nua collaborates with Business for Biodiversity Ireland

Horizon  Nua is delighted to be partnering with Business for Biodiversity Ireland (BFBI), an organisation focused on driving the transition to a nature-positive Irish economy by working closely with different stakeholders, including businesses and policymakers. 

Business for Biodiversity Ireland has come onboard as the ‘Nature Ambassador’ as part of the  Horizon Europe project, NBSEduworld, to help raise awareness among Irish businesses around nature-based enterprises (NBEs) and nature-based solutions (NBS), and how these concepts can create real value in the transition toward sustainable and nature-positive business models. This partnership marks an important milestone for Horizon Nua and our platform, the Connecting Nature Enterprise Platform,  in advancing its mission to position NBEs as a distinct and impactful sector within the mainstream economy. Through BFBI’s leadership and extensive network, CNEP will gain greater visibility within Ireland and across Europe, unlocking new opportunities to engage with other Business for Biodiversity networks. BFBI’s involvement will also support wider dissemination and adoption of NBE concepts, helping to build momentum for the creation of an umbrella sector that recognises the unique role nature-based enterprises play in the transition towards a nature-positive economy.

Horizon Nua looks forward to working with BFBI   towards accelerating the uptake of nature-positive concepts and ideas, and marks a milestone in the journey towards creating a nature-positive economy.
